About The Company

Beaumont College is a very special place. We provide highly personalised pathways for special school leavers, supporting them in their journey to become adults and live independent, fulfilling lives.

Each student spends 2-3 years following an intensive multi-disciplinary team study programme that helps them transition into busy, productive, and fulfilling adult lives.

About The Role

Pathways are highly personalised, combining outcomes for education, health, and care. Pre-entry assessments use information from the current school or college, health and care professionals, and the latest Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). These assessments include interactive sessions with the applicant and their parent or carer.

Our physiotherapists and assistants develop tailored therapeutic plans for direct treatment or delegated responsibilities. These plans support students with complex health conditions and learning disabilities through challenging pathways to reach their potential. Interventions range from pain management and maintaining flexibility to enabling wheelchair users to stand and turn independently.

Students experience transformative growth through dedicated physiotherapy support, involving a clear, intensive plan of interactions over several years. Our team members demonstrate empathy, understanding, and ambition within their neuro-musculoskeletal (NMSK) and neuro-physio disciplines.

As students transition from child to adult NHS services, they may face changes in support access. We assist with planning for life beyond college, including support for accessing Personal Independence Payments (PIPs) to ensure ongoing therapy and an active lifestyle after graduation.
