We are searching for a committed Team Lead to join our wonderful and dedicated team at Ty Penrhos Care Home. This is a rewarding role to support with the day-to-day management of the care home.
This a permanent position working 36 hours per week,This role is to support the clinical lead and managers 24 hours per week with access, rotas and other support and then working on the community one day per week, this role is for an NCA trained colleague.

What you'll do
You will support the management team to achieve consistent delivery of excellent person-centered care for our residents and you will be responsible for key tasks such as referrals and communicating with external agencies. You’ll assist with preparing colleague rotas and monitoring annual leave as well as preparing and monitoring documentation for service users and uploading and reporting on relevant data. You will also be responsible for supervising and supporting colleagues in their daily tasks. You’ll have a flexible approach to your work and be a team player.
What you'll need
You’ll need to have strong knowledge and experience of working within a care setting, with a good understanding of care regulations. You will need to hold a Level 5 QCF Adult Residential Management qualification or be working towards it and be registered with Social Care Wales or in the process of applying. You will be an excellent communicator, with the ability to form positive relationships. You will be able to prioritise conflicting demands and confidently use your initiative to problem solve or escalate as necessary.

Ty Penrhos Care Home in Caerphilly is a large 83 bed home providing a modern, homely setting for older people needing EMI and residential care. The design of Ty Penrhos supports an environment that enables independence and choice within a comfortable and secure setting.
