Leading city based financial services firm seek an experienced Business Support Manager to provide key support to the CEO, COO and senior stakeholders to ensure the delivery of the firm's strategic objectives

Job Purpose
1. Provide direct support working closely with the CEO, COO and senior stakeholders to make the most of their time and focus on key strategic and operational priorities by efficiently managing the day-to-day operations of the CEO's office
2. Ensure that the CEO and the Chair are well briefed with the right level of information to be able to represent the organisation's views on various issues internally and externally
3. Anticipate issues, 'join the dots' and help the CEO and their Executive team navigate through uncertainty and risk
4. Role model the organisation's behaviours (Vision and Values)
5. Highly pro-active and proven in working with demanding senior holders in a busy business support role
Key Responsibilities
6. Support the Managing Director with the coordination of CEO's and the Chair's internal and external engagements, handling their correspondence, coordinating briefings, general communications and media material
7. Ensure that the CEO and the Chair receive high quality information at the right time, and that any follow-up happens without the need for them to check
8. Coordinate activities across the organisation on behalf of the CEO
9. Capture relevant information and make it accessible, usable, and preserved in our internal customer relationship management system
10. Assist with governance related matters, where required
11. Champion a culture of collaboration across the organisation
12. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across the organisation
Essential Experience
13. 3-5+ years experience working in a similar business support function
14. Experience from the following industries banking, financial services, government or a regulator is preferred
15. ideally Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
16. Ability to work collaboratively with the Executive and senior management teams
17. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, together with strong stakeholder management experience and the ability to effectively build, strengthen and influence a wide range of both internal and external relationships at a senior level
18. Excellent political acumen and judgement, demonstrated in a complex stakeholder environment
19. Versatile, highly resourceful and flexible in approach
20. Action oriented and a creative problem solver
21. A proven track record of effective delivery and execution of tasks
22. Excellent stakeholder management skills
23. Work experience in a previous similar role is an advantage
