Our stunning care home, Wilmslow Manor Care Centre, is a purpose-built facility situated in the popular town of Wilmslow, Cheshire, 11 miles south of Manchester city centre. The home is registered to provide care for 66 residents with various needs, including residential, nursing, and dementia care. We are committed to providing the highest standards of safety, comfort, and care, investing in the latest technology and offering a purposeful program of daily activities and gentle exercises to enhance residents' wellbeing. All team members are carefully selected for their warmth and passion, receive comprehensive induction, and ongoing training from our in-house trainers in partnership with the New Care Academy. We pride ourselves on having a permanent staff team, with no agency staff for over four years, ensuring continuity of care and building trust with residents. Across New Care, all staff are paid at least the national minimum wage.
We are seeking to appoint a kind, caring, and organized Hospitality Assistant to join our team. The role involves ensuring residents and visitors receive efficient food service, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, and supporting the serving of meals. We have one BANK contract available, with an hourly rate of £12.21. Shift times are 08:00-19:00, with alternate weekends.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Provide high standards of hospitality service.
2. Support and assist visitors.
3. Inform the Chef of any specific dietary requirements of residents.
4. Follow cleaning schedules and procedures in accordance with HACCP standards.
5. Adhere to all training provided.
6. Accurately complete records and reports.
7. Promote safeguarding and the welfare of adults in contact with the post holder.
Skills and Experience Required:
1. Hospitality or catering experience is desirable.
2. Previous experience in a care setting is desirable.
3. Effective communication skills with team members.
4. Willingness to participate in activities organized within the home.
