We are looking for someone who is organized and loves working with numbers. You will have good communication skills—both written and verbal—and enjoy working closely with others as part of a busy team.
To be successful, you’ll have excellent attention to detail and a good understanding of Microsoft Office systems. Since we deal with a large amount of sensitive data, confidentiality is crucial. It’s important you understand how to handle sensitive information with care. An organized and logical approach to work is essential to help us deliver the best service to our internal customers.
You should have GCSEs at Grade C/4 and above in English and Maths, and preferably have previous experience working within a Finance team.
As a Finance Administrator at the Mining Remediation Authority, you will be part of the Finance team that provides a professional service to all departments. The team plays a vital role in supporting the organization to spend wisely and deliver value for money.
This is a varied role offering plenty of opportunities to learn about teamwork and to develop your skills and knowledge. Your responsibilities will include processing supplier invoices, expense claims, and the Corporate Credit Card (GPC). You will also have the chance to get involved in various ad hoc tasks.
We don’t expect candidates to meet every single desired qualification. If your experience is slightly different but you believe you can bring value to the role, we’d love to hear from you!
