Rate: £50-£60 per hour - Negotiable DOE

Spencer Clarke Group are working with a respected Northwest Local Authority to appoint an experienced Litigation Lawyer.
The successful candidate will play a key role in providing high-quality legal advice, representation, and support across a broad range of general litigation matters, with a particular focus on local authority regulatory and debt recovery cases.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive legal advice on general litigation.
Prepare, conduct, and appear as an advocate on behalf of the Council in the Magistrates' Court, County Court, Tribunals, and other relevant forums.
Draft and review legal documentation, reports, case files, and court papers to a high professional standard.
About You
Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx) with a current practising certificate.
Strong experience advising on local authority legal matters.
Demonstrable advocacy experience, including court work and attendance at committees, panels, and meetings.
