A fantastic new opportunity has arisen within Integrated Utility Services and we are looking for an experienced Digital and Marketing Manager. This role can be based at either our Stockton or Wakefield office.

IUS is part of the Northern Powergrid group, and provides a wide range of services on public & private electrical distribution systems. This includes substation construction and maintenance activity. IUS also operates as an Independent Connections Provider (ICP), designing and installing network connections to adoptable standards. We also deliver multi-utility services for housing developers for their electric, water and gas mains and services. Our industrial resources provide a wide range of High Voltage and Low Voltage services including cable jointing, electrical fitting and overhead line works to the highest standards.
As a Digital and Marketing manager you will be the leader and responsible for the appropriate and consistent representation of IUS both internally and externally. You will have the personal drive and motivation to ensure IUS are always professionally represented. You will be pro-actively demonstrating who IUS are, the values of the business, what we deliver and our growth aspirations.

Key Responsibilities
•Be responsible for ensuring consistent, targeted and complementary messaging is delivered across all our IUS communication channels including website, social media, company intranet and media.
•Production and management of IUS Communications strategy and procedures, which will include the process for how digital marketing campaigns will be developed and implemented, as well as performance monitoring.
•Support the IUS Senior Team in providing timely and appropriate social media interactions and response particularly within LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Facebook etc with the objective of increasing the businesses visibility and reach. This includes coordination and delivery of professional day to day social media posts, specifically post layout, image selection, and the drafting of the social media text.
•Making sure present the strongest position for the company producing both reactive and proactive communications.
•Management and development of the IUS website creating content for latest news, business updates and case studies.
•Producing engaging and diverse PR content (imagery, infographics, video, audio and blogs) for promotion across IUS’s website and organic social media channels.
•Production of all company marketing collateral including brochures, e-mailshots, customer newsletters, capability documents.
•Organisation and development of imagery library including photographs, video footage, drone video footage and graphic design.
•Production of literature for marketing campaigns, conferences and webinar’s.
•Generating proactive news releases and engaging with local, national and trade media to secure coverage
•Responding to escalated media enquiries, drafting statements, engaging with media and, where appropriate, acting as media spokesperson
•Managing IUS’s monitoring and press office management contracts and delivering a Daily News Digest every weekday.

Qualifications and Attributes
Essential Qualifications and Experience
•Qualified to degree level or equivalent in an appropriate degree (communications, journalism, public relations, marketing)
•Full valid UK driving license
•Highly developed writing and content production experience including social media, video and audio.
•Experienced and confident communicating with senior leaders
•Experience building effective working relationships with colleagues as well as managing media and external agencies
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
•Experience performing a similar role within a customer-facing organisation
•Experience using systems such as Drupal, Canva, Hootsuite and Google Analytics
•Experience using Adobe Creative Suite
•Experience working closely with other communications disciplines including marketing, stakeholder engagement and public affairs.
