The Senior Commercial Officer will be involved with the preparation, negotiation and management of all commercial commitments of Space Digital projects and business in the UK, from acquisition of the project to contract closure.
How You Will Contribute to the Team
* Manage all allocated commercial and contractual aspects of applicable contracts, including supporting the development of new opportunities and services within a UK MOD contract.
* Provide commercial and contractual support to bids as required.
* Support the commercial and contractual negotiation of a variety of contractual agreements and changes.
* Work closely with key stakeholders to deliver profitable commercial and contractual solutions, ensuring that commercial and contractual risks are mitigated and required governance is followed.
* Where required, work with Procurement to advise on key contractual obligations and risks within the allocated contracts and ensure flow down and mitigation accordingly.
* Demonstrated experience (minimum of 5 years) within the commercial field.
* Experience in UK MOD single source contracts and implementing the Single Source Contracting Regulations on those contracts.
* Experience of working with the UK MOD on a range of proposals and contracts.
* Capable of delivering high quality complex workload with supervision.
* Proven support to negotiation and contract management activities, with an awareness of potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity.
Qualifications & Experience
* Business, Commercial or Legal degree level as a minimum, or equivalent experience in a contractual and commercial management role.
* Minimum of 5 years experience within the commercial field.
* Experience in UK MOD single source contracts and implementing Single Source Contracting Regulations on those contracts.
* Experience of working with the UK MOD on a range of proposals and contracts.
* Ability to deliver high quality complex workload with supervision.
* Proven support to negotiation and contract management activities, with compliance awareness and commitment to integrity.
