Role: Trainee Mobile Tail Lift Engineer
Shift: Monday: Friday between 8 a.m. :4 p.m : 8 a.m. :3.30 p.m :39 Hours per week
Location: Edinburgh or Glasgow (Covering Scotland)
Salary: GBP 27,000 ,000 per annum :DOE/Background
Company Van Provided (after settling:in period)
A global, industry:leading engineering company is on the lookout for a reliable, motivated Trainee Mobile Tail Lift Engineer to join their growing team in the Edinburgh or Glasgow area, covering the whole of Scotland. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a long:term engineering career with full training provided - no previous tail lift experience required.
As a Trainee Mobile Tail Lift Engineer, you will:
: Support the inspection, servicing and repair of tail lifts and associated equipment
: Work on commercial vehicles and lifting equipment across Scotland
: Learn fault diagnosis, mechanical and electrical repair skills
: Deliver a high standard of customer service on:site
: Develop specialist engineering knowledge through structured training from senior Engineers
After your initial settling:in period, a company van will be provided to support your mobile role.
Who We're Looking for in the Trainee Mobile Tail Lift Engineer
: Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
: Engineering or technical background preferred (but not essential)
: Comfortable working on vehicles and mechanical equipment
: A practical problem:solver with a positive attitude
: Full UK driving licence and own transport (essential)
This role would suit someone from a mechanical, automotive, HGV, plant, REME, agricultural, or general engineering background - or someone looking to break into the industry.
