Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 9:00‑5:00 / 9:00‑4:30.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced or newly qualified Cardiac Physiologist to work within our efficient and motivated Cardiac Physiology Service as a Band 6 Senior Cardiac Physiologist. Our team of highly skilled and professional Cardiac Physiologists and assistants works across sites at Glasgow Royal Infirmary and Stobhill Hospital. The service encourages and promotes teaching and development.
* Independently work within the ETT and TILT service.
* Support the device service.
* Assist the Cardiologist in pacemaker implantation theatre and support pacemaker patients scheduled for MRI.
* Provide support for the physiology‑led ILR service.
* Receive training opportunities within Echocardiography and advanced device follow‑up.
* Ensure mandatory health and safety, infection control protocols, procedures, and audits are completed timely.
* Mentor, teach and supervise cardiac physiology assistants and trainee physiologists during assessment and logbook completion.
