The Enterprise Ways of Working Enablement & Talent team shapes how colleagues across the enterprise grow, collaborate, and deliver. We design and enable modern ways of working, learning experiences, and talent practices that help teams adapt, perform, and thrive in a rapidly changing environment.
The Director, Continuous Learning & Career Development leads learning & development capabilities for Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) - owning the strategy, execution, and evolution of learning programs that build future-ready skills and meaningful career pathways for technologists.
Reporting to the Vice President, Talent & Enablement, this leader manages a team of talent professionals and partners closely with Technology, Colleague Experience Group (CEG), and enterprise stakeholders to deliver scalable, data-driven learning experiences that align to business priorities and colleague needs.
How will you make an impact in this role?
Strategy & Program Leadership
1. Own and evolve the ETS learning and career development strategy, ensuring strong alignment to enterprise talent priorities and future skill needs
2. Govern and continuously improve core talent platforms and frameworks, including the Tech Career Framework, ETS Skills Hub, and in-band promotion processes
3. Translate strategy into clear roadmaps, investment priorities, and measurable outcomes
Learning Experience Design & Delivery
4. Design and lead enterprise-impact learning initiatives, including:Skills-based learning paths (technical, specialized, digital product & design, leadership, etc.)Speaker series focused on applied, real-world case studiesCohort-based learning pilots that drive accountability, mentorship, and skill applicationCareer enhancement programs (e.g., CAREER {fwd}, 5+, learning campaigns)
5. Partner with enterprise Learning & Development teams to share and scale ETS learning where appropriate
Learning Ecosystem & Tool Management
6. Oversee learning tool strategy and vendor management (e.g., Pluralsight, O’Reilly), including compliance, GenAI approvals, and platform integration
7. Drive integration of learning platforms into Oracle HCM, improving accessibility, enrollment, and reporting
Measurement, Insights & Continuous Improvement
8. Establish and maintain a learning metrics dashboard to track engagement, adoption, sentiment, and business impact
9. Use data and colleague insights to continuously refine programs and prioritize investment
10. Clearly communicate outcomes and value to senior stakeholders
Leadership & Partnership
11. Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of learning and talent professionals
12. Build trusted partnerships across ETS, CEG, and colleague networks
13. Act as a thought partner and consultant to leaders on learning, skills, and career development
Minimum Qualifications
14. 7+ years of experience in talent, learning & development, or other people-centered strategy, with demonstrated enterprise-scale impact
15. Proven experience leading teams and complex, cross-functional initiatives
16. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at senior levels
17. Data-driven mindset with experience defining metrics, measuring impact, and adjusting strategy
18. Demonstrated ability to design scalable learning experiences aligned to evolving skill needs
19. Exceptional communication, storytelling, and executive presentation skills
20. Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with competing priorities
21. Strong leadership presence with a track record of building trust, clarity, and accountability
Preferred Qualifications
22. Experience working with learning platforms, vendors, and HR systems preferred
