St Asaph Conservative Club is seeking friendly and professional Bar Staff to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service in a welcoming environment, ensuring the smooth operation of the bar, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, reliable, and possess a passion for hospitality.
Duties
* Serve drinks efficiently and courteously to members and guests
* Prepare and pour a variety of beverages in line with club standards
* Ensure that all patrons of the bar are full or day members
* Handle cash and card transactions accurately
* Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware and utensils
* Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service
* Enforce responsible drinking policies and promote a safe environment
* Assist with organising events or functions held at the club when required
* Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
Skills
* Previous experience in hospitality or food service is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided
* Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service
* Excellent serving skills with a friendly demeanour
* Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
* Basic mathematics skills for handling transactions accurately
* Proven time management abilities to ensure prompt service during busy periods
* Ability to work well within a team and adapt to changing priorities
* Knowledge of restaurant or bar operations is advantageous but not mandatory
