Broxburn Academy is a thriving and caring learning community serving the families of Broxburn, Uphall, Uphall Station, Pumpherston, and Dechmont.
We work closely with our affiliated cluster primaries, including Broxburn PS, Kirkhill PS, Uphall PS, Pumpherston, and Uphall Station Community PS, and we also receive a number of out-of-catchment requests.
The current school roll is 819 students.

A relevant teaching qualification and registration with the General Teaching Council for Scotland are essential.
This position involves regulated work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful candidates must join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check before starting employment, with costs covered by the candidate.
The fee for Full PVG Scheme Membership is £59; existing members pay £18.
