Position: Accounts Manager (Practice)
Location: Wirral
Salary: £45,000 (Dependent on Experience)
We are on the lookout for a motivated Accounts Manager to join our client's already experienced team, dedicated to delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities for the Accounts Manager Job:
* Compile the Accounts file along with all related documentation, including accounts preparation, corporate tax returns, and directors’ personal tax returns, ensuring everything is ready for review for the Accounts Director
* Engage regularly with key clients to discuss their financial records and ensure ongoing understanding and collaboration
* Serve as a primary contact for Accounts clients, providing updates on service delivery and maintaining consistent communication throughout the process
* Oversee and review the output of junior staff, delivering constructive feedback and ensuring all points are resolved before forwarding work to the Accounts Director
* After the Accounts Director has conducted their review, make sure all files and accompanying reports are suitably prepared for client meetings and debriefs
* Support and guide team members, from apprentices to Account Seniors, and assist the Accounts Director in day-to-day team management
* Actively address and resolve client concerns, offering thoughtful suggestions to both clients and internal team members
* Coordinate client schedules and manage workflow efficiently to ensure deadlines are consistently met
Requirements for the Accounts Manager Job:
* Will require you to hold 4+ years' previous experience working within a UK accounting practice.
* ACCA or ACA qualification would be advantageous but experience is more important for this role.
* You must hold the right to fully work in the UK.
