Job Overview Salford | Start: September| Permanent Careers Coordinator Are you passionate about preparing young people for their future and ensuring every student has access to meaningful, high-quality careers education? We’re looking for a dedicated Careers Coordinator to join our inclusive and aspirational school community and play a central role in shaping our students’ futures. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead and grow a vital area of school life, embedding careers education throughout the curriculum and helping all students—especially those in Years 10 and 11—understand the pathways available to them post-16 and beyond. As Careers Coordinator, you will develop engaging and informative careers provision in line with the Gatsby Benchmarks, organise impactful events and employer interactions, and work closely with external providers and internal colleagues to ensure every student is informed, empowered, and inspired. You’ll work with the Assistant Headteacher responsible for Careers and the Year 11 Year Manager, and receive a positive, well-supported handover from the outgoing post holder. You will also play a role in Year 7 transition, helping to ensure that new students feel welcomed and start to build their aspirations from the very beginning of their journey with us. This might include welcome events, orientation activities, and early engagement with careers-related learning. Who are we looking for?
