OFCS Deputy Completions Manager Lowestoft (Onshore) 12-hour days 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off £740/day (£61.66/hr) all in rate. The Offshore Converter Station Deputy Completions Manager will be responsible for assisting the Completions Manager in the planning, execution, and handover of the project, ensuring it meets all requirements and standards. This includes overseeing the mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and handover processes, as well as managing documentation and coordinating with various teams. Key Responsibilities: * Assisting the Completions Manager: The Deputy Completions Manager will work under the guidance of the Completions Manager, supporting them in all aspects of the project's completion phase. * Planning and Scheduling: Assisting in the development and implementation of completion plans, schedules, and procedures. * Mechanical Completion: Overseeing the mechanical completion phase, ensuring systems and equipment are installed and ready for commissioning. * Pre-commissioning and Commissioning: Supporting the pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, including testing, inspection, and troubleshooting. * Documentation and Reporting: Ensuring accurate and timely completion of documentation, including punch lists, test reports, and handover dossiers. * Coordination: Coordinating with various teams, such as construction, commissioning, engineering, and vendors, to ensure smooth progress. * Quality Assurance: Ensuring that all work is completed to the required quality standards and specifications. * Safety Management: Promoting and maintaining a safe working environment, adhering to safety regulations and procedures. * Handover: Assisting in the handover of the completed project to the asset management or operations team. * Budget and Resource Management: May be involved in managing project budgets and resources within the completion phase. * Change Management: Managing and documenting changes to the project scope or design during the completion phase. Skills and Experience: * A strong understanding of UK offshore wind sector and relevant regulations * Experience in Completions: Significant experience in the completions phase of large-scale projects, particularly in the energy or offshore industry. * Technical Knowledge: Strong technical understanding of offshore converter station systems and equipment. * Project Management Skills: Proven ability to plan, organize, and manage complex projects. * Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams. * Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to address issues during the completion phase. * Knowledge of Relevant Standards: Understanding of relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices. * Safety Awareness: Strong commitment to safety and experience working in a safety-critical environment
