Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Utility Surveyor based in Greater Manchester. The Utility Surveyor will be responsible for conducting underground utility mapping and location surveys, collecting and analysing geospatial data, and assisting with site investigations. The role involves utilising GPR and EML equipment to ensure accurate data collection and reporting. Experience using total station and GPS/RTK is a requirement, some AutoCAD knowledge is beneficial but not essential. Although sites are primarily within the North West, some projects may involve traveling to various areas around the UK.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in underground utility surveys, topographical surveys and data collection techniques.(minimum 3 years)
* QCF level 3 minimum
* Experienced in using surveying instruments such as ground-penetrating radar (GPR), electromagnetic locators, total stations, and GPS equipment.
* Strong technical knowledge in geospatial analysis and map interpretation.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision in data validation and quality assurance.
* Capability to work independently and collaboratively with team members onsite and offsite.
* Good communication and problem-solving skills to address challenges during project execution.
* A valid driver's license for travel to and from project locations throughout the UK.
