Civils Supervisor Black Hat Bristol & Southwest Region £45,000 - £50,000 Company Van Were looking for an experienced Civils Supervisor to join our growing team, working with leading engineering clients across Bristol and the Southwest. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled site leader to oversee key civil engineering projects, with a competitive salary and company vehicle provided. ?? Key Responsibilities Carry out pre-site surveys and risk assessments to evaluate project feasibility and report findings to the Project Manager. Identify and coordinate the necessary permits and approvals. Act as the key liaison with clients, end users, and the public to communicate planned works and reduce disruption. Review site documentation, including utility stats and engineering drawings, to ensure readiness before work commences. Lead and supervise daily site operationsensuring teams are fully equipped and compliant with all safety regulations. Report any deferrals from estimates (DFEs) promptly and manage the approval process in line with company procedures. Efficiently manage plant and material orders to keep projects on track. Deliver regular toolbox talks, safety audits, and site inspections. Continuously monitor and mitigate risks through dynamic risk assessments. Maintain accurate site documentation and photographic records. Build strong working relationships with local authorities, stakeholders, and clients to maintain a collaborative approach. Enforce high standards of health & safety, including PPE usage and risk control. What Were Looking For Strong IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. In-depth experience with deep drainage works. Valid NRSWA Streetworks Supervisor card. SSSTS certification. First Aid qualification. Proven track record in supervising civils projects.
