We are recruiting for a Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist to join our Specialist Forensic Community Team (SFCT) across Bucks and Oxfordshire to manage the service, provide leadership and intervention evaluation.
You will contribute to an ever‑evolving service, manage a community caseload and act as Care Co‑ordinator for patients. A key part of the role involves reviewing OT interventions within the Model of Human Occupation (MOHO) guide and enhancing collaboration between Community and Forensic Inpatient services.
In addition, you will play an active role in clinical governance and education – supporting OT students and apprenticeship placements across Forensic Services, and contributing to the development of the profession.

Responsibilities
* Take a leading role in the provision and development of the occupational therapy (OT) service to Forensic patients
* Work in collaboration with other services within the Trust
* Support the OT team to provide an evidence‑based therapy treatment programme that meets the specific needs of patients
* Contribute to the development of projects and services for the care group in collaboration with NHS, Social and Community Services, Primary Care and Voluntary Agencies
* Support the SCFT team Managers/Service Manager/Modern Matron to achieve performance targets for Forensic Services
* Coordinate clinical governance activities and education opportunities (including OT student/Apprentice practice placements) for OT staff working in Forensic services
Qualifications
* BSc Occupational Therapy or MSc Occupational Therapy
* HCPC Registration
Experience
* Extensive experience working as a Senior Occupational Therapist
Desirable Experience
* Experience working as a Lead Occupational Therapist
Expertise
* Experience working in Forensics, Mental Health or Prisons
Training / CPD
* Leadership Training
* Sensory Training / Experience
* Trauma‑Informed Training
Additional Requirements
* Applicants must have a full, valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for work.

Salary and Contract
Band 7; £47,810 to £54,710 a year plus an RSU Allowance of £1,446 per annum (pro rata). Permanent full‑time contract.
