Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Manager to oversee the delivery of high-quality care in our facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in senior care, including experience in assisted living and nursing home environments. This role requires exceptional leadership skills and the ability to develop and implement effective care plans for residents, ensuring their needs are met with dignity and respect.
Responsibilities
* Develop, implement, and monitor individualised care plans for service users, ensuring they meet their physical, emotional, and social needs.
* Supervise and manage care staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high standards of care are maintained.
* Conduct regular assessments of residents' health and wellbeing, adjusting care plans as necessary.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and best practices in senior care, including medication administration protocols.
* Foster a positive environment that promotes dignity, respect, and independence among residents.
* Collaborate with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to coordinate comprehensive care services.
* Provide training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills in dementia and Alzheimer's care.
* Maintain accurate records of resident care activities and staff performance.
Experience
* Proven experience in a management role within assisted living or nursing home settings is essential.
* Strong background in senior care, including dementia and Alzheimer's care.
* Nursing qualifications or equivalent experience in a healthcare setting is highly desirable.
* Demonstrated ability to develop effective care plans tailored to individual resident needs.
* Experience in supervising staff and fostering a collaborative team environment.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
