Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Full Stack Developer based in Huddersfield. The Full Stack Developer will oversee both back-end and front-end web development, as well as software development. Day-to-day tasks will include but are not limited to coding, debugging, testing, producing documentation and collaborating with the team to deliver high-quality software solutions.
* Designing and building new end-to-the-end product features, while supporting and extending existing features
* Collating information needed from clients to successfully deliver the project to a high standard.
* Assisting the Software Support team, taking feedback on board and researching new features
* Experienced with a varied Tech stack including but not limited to C#, and GitHub.
* To learn and to share in a collaborative working environment with an experienced team.
* Creating APIs for communication between front-end and back-end.
* Managing authentication and security measures.
* Overseeing deployment, Cloud integration, and DevOps tasks.
Requirements
* Ideally 5 years’ experience working as a Full Stack Developer in a Commercial environment.
* Software Development and Full-Stack Development ability
* Back-End and Front-End Web Development skills.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Experience with database management systems.
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, desirable not necessary
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as work unsupervised.
* Excellent communication and time management skills.
* Experience working on a Hosted Products & SaaS system.
* The ability to write professionally written, testable, and maintainable code.
* A keen eye for detail and accuracy/consistency in layout, information, and documentation.
* Ability to document work, aiding in the creation of release notes, knowledgebase articles and helpfile systems.
* The desire to improve your current skillset and learn new skills, keeping up to date about changes in the field and on top of innovative technologies.
* A checkable Portfolio of existing Projects and/or previous Projects worked on.
* An understanding of VB would be an advantage but not essential.
* Knowledge of Accounts and Payroll Systems would be a definite advantage but not essential.
* Willingness to teach and pass on knowledge Junior members of staff.
Experience of using with a working knowledge of the following:
* CSS, XML, HTML & PHP
* jQuery, AJAX, Restful API
* ASP.Net, C#, OOP, JavaScript
* Databases - SQL
* Experience in developing CRM & SaaS systems for various platforms Azure, AWS, Google cloud etc.
