Role Purpose: To implement the Company’s digital marketing strategy. Ultimately, the purpose of this role is to use multi- channel digital communications platforms to generate leads, sales and raise brand awareness. The role holder will also optimise our website to increase the number of web-sales and lead captures. Main Responsibilities: The Digital Marketing & Social Media Professional is responsible for creating and scheduling content and capturing community interaction that enables the delivery of anticipated customer acquisitions. The role holder is also responsible for running campaigns, analysing trends and making recommendations based on competitive intelligence and data analytics. Key Activities This list is not exhaustive and will be reviewed regularly with the employee and their line manager. Undertake appropriate activities to: Optimise reporting of the website using tools such as GA4, hotjar, cloudflare. Provide management reports on website health (usage levels, unique visitors, popular pages, events, conversions). Proactively identify areas of improvement in website management, reporting and user experience. Support website updates and marketing campaigns that push Wildanet’s growth even further. Work with the systems, marketing and creative teams to deliver improvements to the website functionality and performance. Manage Wildanet’s social channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn). Craft bold, engaging videos and visuals that get people talking. Brief agencies or freelancers when it’s time to scale things up. Bring our brand to life online, capturing real community stories from our build area. Consistently produce content that drives awareness, leads and sales. Plan and post with purpose, every caption, image and clip aimed at sparking engagement. Partner with our Sales team to keep our voice friendly, human and unmistakably Wildanet. Create targeted campaigns that win new customers and keep current ones coming back. Track what works, share smart insights, and spot fresh trends that help us stay ahead of the digital curve. Actively participate and contribute to team meetings. Provide support and cover for colleagues where appropriate. Participate in line management arrangements. Follow all health and safety policies and guidelines. Ensure all corporate policy (relevant to your area) are adhered to. Maintain mandatory and complete development training as required. Measure of Performance (This list is not exhaustive and will be reviewed regularly with the employee and their line manager). Number of Leads generated via social media Number of Sales generated via social media Volume of web-sales Consistency of tome of voice in our digital channels Brand awareness Proposition awareness. Person Specification: Tech experience with Google Analytics and tools like Wordpress and Hootsuite – and an ability to quickly learn to use new tools. A firm understanding of how to build and maintain a following on the various social media platforms. A flair for words, from catchy captions to longer stories that connect with different audiences. A result focused mindset, using data to boost ROI. Ability to multi-task and work under pressure to meet key deadlines. Keen eye for detail. GCSE in English & Maths, with a marketing qualification advantageous. Experience of creating scroll-stopping posts across multiple platforms. Proven experience of driving real customer engagement. Must be able to work from the Liskeard office 3 days each week.
