Overview
We are seeking self employed LINCOLN depo motivated MULTIDROP Delivery Driver for Yodel to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting as part of the daily responsibilities. You will earn pound per complete drop. Responsibilities
* CLEAR driving licence.
* Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations.
* Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as necessary.
* Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries.
* Communicate effectively with customers and warehouse staff regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or damages.
* Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly.
* Assist in the warehouse as needed, including inventory management and organisation of stock.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
* Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience driving vans or larger vehicles is advantageous.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
* Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
* Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety practices is beneficial.
* A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer service excellence.
