You will use your technical expertise and relationships to influence and negotiate on delivery of the AMP8 storm overflow plan, identifying risks and opportunities for Yorkshire Water and the alliance. You will ensure appropriate models are used to generate solutions for inland and coastal bathing storm overflows, along with network and treatment works, and you will collaborate with the Modelling & Data team to embed best practices in Yorkshire Water modelling specifications.
You will work to ensure optimal and effective solutions are deployed in line with SORDP and WINEP drivers for storm overflow investment, nature-based/blue-green solutions, and surface water removal.
You will manage the development of standards for model quality, modelling methodology and model audit procedures for storm overflow alliance activities, developing a modelling centre of excellence and ensuring compliance with methodologies and regular audits.
