The Role – Teaching Assistant * Provide targeted academic support in class, small groups, and 1:1 settings. * Assist students with SEN (including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH) to access the curriculum confidently. * Use a nurturing and empathetic approach to build positive relationships and boost engagement. * Support with behaviour regulation and encourage student independence. * Work closely with the SENCO and teaching staff to implement differentiated learning strategies. What We’re Looking For – Teaching Assistant * Previous experience working with SEN students in a secondary setting. * A calm, caring, and resilient nature, with the ability to support students facing barriers to learning. * Strong literacy and numeracy skills to support academic progress. * A proactive team player who’s passionate about student development. * Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply).
