Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role requires proficiency in various plumbing techniques, as well as the ability to handle tools and equipment safely and effectively. The Plumber will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in both residential and commercial settings.
Duties
* Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
* Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential problems.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools to perform plumbing tasks efficiently.
* Carry out welding tasks as needed for pipe fittings and repairs.
* Assemble and install various plumbing components according to specifications.
* Perform carpentry work related to plumbing installations when necessary.
* Plasterboard and plastering
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all work activities.
* Manage heavy lifting of materials and equipment as required on job sites.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in plumbing or a related field is essential.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various plumbing issues.
* Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
* Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to installations.
* A valid commercial driving licence is preferred for transportation of materials to job sites.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with plumbing work.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
