We are seeking a dedicated Travel and Tourism teacher to join on an ongoing temp basis. The ideal candidate will bring a flexible approach, excellent organisational skills, and a passion for developing engaging educational environments.
Responsibilities
Day-to-day of the role of a Travel and Tourism Lecturer:
* Design and deliver engaging teaching materials, including slides and classroom activities, utilising existing resources where possible.
* Conduct lessons that incorporate a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
* Mark learners' work and provide constructive feedback to support their progress.
* Use technology and virtual learning tools effectively to enhance the educational experience.
* Maintain high standards of teaching and learning within the classroom.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Qualifications for the Travel and Tourism Lecturer role:
* To hold a recognised teaching qualification
* To deliver, Level 1 Introductory Diploma in Travel and Tourism, Level 2 Certificate in Introduction to Cabin Crew, Level 2 Diploma in Travel and Tourism as well as, Level 3 Diploma in Travel and Tourism
* Proficient in current Maths and English.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to engage and inspire students.
* Open-minded and positive attitude towards the use of technology in education.
