Are you highly organised, people-focused and motivated by making a real difference to patient care? Join our team as a Patient Pathway Co-ordinator and play a vital role in shaping every patient’s hospital experience at King’s Mill Hospital and Newark Hospital.
You’ll work closely with Consultant teams to manage clinics, monitor patient pathways against national targets, resolve issues proactively and keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Your attention to detail, strong IT skills and excellent communication will help deliver outstanding patient experiences while supporting the Trust to meet performance standards.

Knowledge Requirements
* Computer literate, with experience of using a keyboard with a high level of accuracy
* Knowledge of NHS or service provider in general
* Thorough knowledge of healthcare administrative systems and processes
* Knowledge of databases, spreadsheets e.g. PAS, Excel or similar applications
* Experience of using a full range of IT/Patient data systems
* Confidentiality and Data Protection
* Health and Safety
* Equality and diversity
* Sound office clerical background providing knowledge of relevant procedures
Qualifications
* Good general education with GCSE English at grade C or above.
* RSA II (or equivalent)
* Association of Medical Secretaries, Practice Administrator & Receptionist diploma (AMSPAR)
* NVQ in Customer Care
* Institute of Health Records & Information Management Diploma (IHRIM)
* European Computer Driving Licence Shorthand speeds of 80wpm

* Previous NHS knowledge and experience.
* Experience of working in Ophthalmology service
