About the Role
Due to our continued success and expanding network of clinics, we have a vacancy for a Clinical Director, to join our existing senior management team.
The Clinical Director will be part of the senior clinical team responsible for clinical compliance, governance, performance, and quality standards. They will ensure the highest and safest levels of patient care across the clinics they oversee, in conjunction with the Divisional Director.
Candidate Profile
Our ideal candidate is an experienced Senior Optometrist currently in a senior management role within an ophthalmology or ophthalmic business, with the ability to lead and motivate their team to achieve outstanding results.
Candidates MUST be registered with GOC, IP qualified, and have extensive refractive and cataract surgery experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide clinical direction and leadership for the division.
2. Ensure clinics and treatment centres deliver safe, effective, caring, and responsive patient care in a high-quality environment.
3. Promote and safeguard the wellbeing of patients and colleagues.
4. Demonstrate strong commercial awareness and a track record of achieving targets.
5. Meet and exceed financial objectives, operational targets, and KPIs.
6. Possess senior management experience in healthcare (desirable).
7. Exhibit strategic planning and leadership skills.
8. Maintain excellent communication and people management skills.
