We are seeking an experienced and committed Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day leadership of our children’s residential home in Peterborough. This position forms part of our succession planning and offers a genuine opportunity to grow into senior leadership while being fully supported. The Purpose of the Role The Deputy Manager plays a key part in ensuring each child experiences safety, understanding, and therapeutic care every day. You will support the Registered Manager in leading the home with clarity and consistency, setting expectations for practice, behaviour, and professionalism. When the Registered Manager is absent, you will step confidently into the role - ensuring continuity, reassurance for staff and children, and full regulatory compliance. Your leadership will be visible, calm, and values‑led, shaping a culture where children can begin to rebuild trust and develop emotionally. About You You are a grounded, emotionally intelligent leader with experience in children’s residential care and a strong understanding of the regulatory framework.
