As our new Associate Electrical Design Engineer, you will be contributing to the electrical design and development of pump systems and components, collaborating with cross‑functional engineering teams to deliver innovative, energy‑efficient solutions. What you will be doing
As a key part of the Electrical Design Engineering team, you'll create impact by developing robust electrical designs that enhance product reliability and support Grundfos's mission to pioneer sustainable water technology.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Design and develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and for pump systems and control units
- Collaborate with mechanical and engineers to ensure seamless system integration
- Perform electrical calculations, and design verification testing to meet safety and performance standards
- Support prototype builds and troubleshoot electrical design issues during development and manufacturing phases
- Create and maintain accurate design documentation, BOMs, and technical specifications
- Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards such as IEC, UL, and CE requirements
What makes you a great fit
- Above all, you are a detail‑oriented electrical engineering professional with a solid foundation in circuit design and a genuine enthusiasm for sustainable product development. We would also imagine that you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or HNC/Apprenticeship in Electrical/Manufacturing Engineering
- 1–3 years of experience in electrical design
- Proficiency with electrical CAD tools such as EPLAN, or equivalent
- Working knowledge of electrical safety standards (IEC, UL, CE)
It is a plus if you also:
- SAP
- Exposure to manufacturing environments
- Electrical installation requirements BS7671
