Overview Humly North West is looking for a nurturing Teaching Assistant or SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a Nursery team in Penrith. This part-time role is perfect for someone who loves working with early learners and wants a consistent morning schedule for the full 2026/27 academic year. Starting in September, you’ll support our youngest children as they explore and learn through play. Whether providing general classroom support or 1:1 assistance for a child with additional needs, your role will be vital in helping these children build a strong foundation for their education. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality learning experiences aligned with the school's curriculum and expectations. Build positive relationships with students to support their academic and personal development within the Early Years setting. Maintain effective classroom management and a productive learning atmosphere. Follow all safeguarding and reporting protocols required by the school. Candidate Profile Relevant qualifications for a Teaching Assistant (e.g., QTS or equivalent). Strong communication and interpersonal skills suited to the Early Years sector.
