Our client is seeking an experienced planner to join their project team based in the North West. They are engaged in interesting heavy civil engineering construction projects and, following several recent framework wins, are looking to expand their team.

The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
* Constructing and maintaining detailed programmes from first principles, including resource and cost loading
* Contributing to construction techniques and buildability assessments
* Coordinating with project teams on all programme aspects
* Managing short-term planning with project teams
* Owning the programme to drive project delivery
* Communicating programme information, risks, and commercial issues to operational teams
* Updating and monitoring project progress
* Introducing and analysing changes in programmes and supporting commercial teams
* Evaluating supply chain and subcontractor programmes
The Candidate
To be successful, you will have:
* A qualification in civil engineering or construction at HND level or equivalent
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Proficiency in P6 software
