Job Title: Senior Procurement Supply Chain Manager

What you’ll be doing:
Lead team process conformance by continuously reviewing, challenging, and driving process improvements
Establish, manage and control all associated labour and material budgets, working in consultation with key stakeholders
Ensure that the team procures required items in line with SQCDP objectives, with effective contract management throughout
Be accountable for all Supply Chain activity in line with area of responsibility (procurement, programme, strategy or business capability) in support of the Supply Chain Functional Plan at BAE Systems (Barrow)
Ensure that the team provides and continuously improves systems, policies, processes, business capability and project related tasks / information to support procuring teams to procure required items in line with SQCDP objectives, with effective contract management throughout
Ensure sub-ordinates work collaboratively across the Functions (as appropriate) to resolve problems and achieve objectives and high standards of performance
Lead and manage a team of professional Supply Chain Staff and Managers in the delivery of the Supply Chain Functional Strategy and Plan, specifically in support of the area / portfolio that has been assigned to the individual
Your skills and experiences:
Experience in Supply Chain management
Experience in the Defence sector or similar environment
Management, leadership and business executive skills

The Supply Chain Team:
As Senior Procurement Supply Chain Manager, you will be accountable for all Supply Chain activity in line with area of responsibility (procurement, programme, strategy or business capability) in support of the Supply Chain Functional Plan at BAE Systems (Barrow). You will Provide support and assistance in the development of key strategies, policies and procedures to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction (internally and externally).
