Salary: £28,295 – £45,5000+ Overtime + Travel Time + On-Call Retainers

We’re working in partnership with a leading national provider of fire safety and electrical services who are looking to expand their team with a talented and motivated Fire Service & Maintenance Engineer based in the Stafford area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer to join a growing business with a strong presence in the social housing sector, where no two days are the same. You’ll be provided with all the tools and support you need—including a company van, fuel card, uniform, full test equipment, mobile, and laptop—to succeed in a highly rewarding role.
As a Fire Service & Maintenance Engineer, your core responsibility will be the PPM servicing and reactive maintenance of life safety systems, including fire alarms, emergency lighting, and more. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality service and maintaining compliance to ensure tenant safety across multiple sites.
Service, maintain, and install fire alarm systems (BS5839-1), emergency lighting, access control, and nurse call systems
Maintain and inspect associated safety equipment (fire extinguishers, AOVs, etc.)
Manage van stock efficiently and liaise with internal departments for restocking
Proven experience working on both analogue addressable and conventional fire alarm systems
Strong IT skills for digital reporting and communication
A full, clean UK driving licence
Flexibility to participate in an on-call rota and work overtime
Overtime, travel time, and out-of-hours pay (engineers regularly earn £50k+)
