As we continue our growth journey this newly created project role within our Finance Team will be responsible for
leading the finance testing and transition within the finance workstreams for new client onboarding as well as other finance change. What youll do: Responsibility for supporting the client Finance criteria gathering and build design. Responsibility for designing new, or adapting current test scripts, for Finance (including accounting and treasury) testing in respect of new clients with support from the operational team Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). Responsibility for carrying out test scripts in respect of developer build of accounting software, payment functionality and any relevant administration system workflows. Responsibility for generating transition plans with support from SMEs. Liaise with the Finance operational team manager to ensure the finance testing plan is managed effectively. Liaise with the Finance operational team manager to transition new client set up to BAU and to ensure that the wider Finance team are fully trained ahead of new client go live. Liaise with the workstream project manager to present updates to the workstream lead. Manage other small process changes for Finance where required. This role would suit someone with: Strong finance, accounting and treasury experience. An understanding of BACS payment software, treasury & banking. Experience in finance transition including testing. Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate / interact at all levels within the organisation and external to the organisation. Strong diagnostic, analytical and process skills. Good emotional intelligence and awareness. Ability to work under pressure. A positive and professional attitude. Strong interpersonal skills.
