Job Title: Social Media Manager
Contract: 3 months (Likely to be extended)
Location: Hybrid (Hammersmith (London) X3 days in the office)

As the Social Media Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and monitoring the client's social media strategy for smoke-free products. You will work collaboratively with external agencies and global teams to ensure alignment with company goals and adherence to brand guidelines. Ensuring compliance with the clients marketing code and staying updated on regulatory changes are key aspects of this role. You will also monitor trends and analyze social media metrics to continuously improve content relevance and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy Development & Implementation:
1. Plan, implement, and monitor the clients social media strategy specifically for smoke-free products
2. Develop and execute social media campaigns that align with company goals and brand guidelines
Collaboration:
3. Work closely with external agencies and global teams to ensure day-to-day activities align with the overall plan and adhere to guidelines
4. Maintain effective communication with stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and campaign execution
Compliance:
5. Ensure all social media activities comply with the clients marketing code and other relevant regulations
6. Stay informed about changes in regulations and guidelines affecting social media and marketing activities
Trend Monitoring:
7. Monitor both online and offline trends to ensure content is current, relevant, and engaging
8. Analyze social media metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement
Operational Excellence:
9. Utilize ticketing processes effectively for managing tasks and communications
10. Demonstrate experience working with globalized teams in regulated industries, ensuring all activities are well-coordinated and compliant
Qualifications:
11. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
12. Proven experience in managing social media platforms and developing social media strategies
13. Experience working in regulated industries, preferably tobacco or related sectors
14. Strong understanding of social media KPIs, analytics tools, and reporting
15. Excellent communication and collaboration skills
16. Ability to stay updated with current social media trends and best practices
Skills:
17. Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram,YouTube, X, TikTok)
18. Familiarity with compliance and regulatory guidelines related to marketing and social media
