Are you a commercially minded Quantity Surveyor with a background in fit out or retail construction?
I’m recruiting on behalf of a Bristol-based contractor recognised for delivering fast-paced, high-quality retail environments across the UK. With a strong client base, repeat business, and a collaborative team culture, they’re looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to support their continued growth and success.

🔧 The Role
As Quantity Surveyor, you’ll play a key role in the commercial management of retail fit out and refurbishment schemes nationwide, typically ranging from £250k to £5m+ in value.
Your responsibilities will include:

Managing project finances from procurement to final account
*
Preparing valuations, cost reports, and contract documentation
*
Overseeing subcontractor packages and tender processes
*
Working closely with Project Managers and delivery teams to ensure projects are delivered on budget and to client satisfaction
*
Building and maintaining strong relationships with key retail clients and supply chain partners

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within fit out, refurbishment, or retail construction
*
Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail
*
Confident managing multiple fast-track projects concurrently
*
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
*
Based in or commutable to Bristol, with flexibility for nationwide travel
