Salary: £75,000 - 75,000 per year Requirements:
* We are looking for a candidate with proficiency in system integration, hardware/software interfaces, and performance testing. You should be skilled with simulation software tools, modeling languages, and simulation platforms such as MATLAB, Simulink, or RTOS. Familiarity with industry standards and certifications, for example, DO-178C and DO-254, is essential. We require strong troubleshooting capabilities, root cause analysis skills, and expertise in system diagnostics. You should possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, able to resolve complex system issues under tight deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
Responsibilities:
* As a Systems Test & Integration Engineer, you will lead the integration of various subsystems (hardware and software) into cohesive flight simulation systems. Close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams will be crucial to design and implement integration procedures, ensuring all subsystems function together as intended. You will define and execute test plans to verify system performance, functionality, and safety, ensuring that all simulation systems meet regulatory standards and performance metrics required for certification. You will act as the primary point of contact for customers during the acceptance phase, conducting customer-specific system tests and demonstrations to gain sign-off on system readiness. Additionally, you will respond to system issues identified during testing or customer feedback, collaborating with internal teams to resolve them promptly.
Technologies:
* Hardware
* Support
* Matlab
More:
We are committed to developing world-class flight simulators that shape the future of aviation training. In this role, you will play a key part in testing, validating, and delivering systems that simulate real-world aviation environments. We value prior experience working directly with customers during system acceptance testing and providing post-delivery support. Knowledge of flight simulation systems, such as Full Flight Simulators (FFS) or Flight Training Devices (FTD), is considered a plus. Certification or training in INCOSE Systems Engineering practices and exposure to agile or hybrid development methodologies will further enhance your application.
