Role Description
This is a full‑time on‑site role for a Residential Childcare Worker located in Stourport‑on‑Severn. The Residential Childcare Worker will be responsible for the day‑to‑day care and well‑being of children in a residential setting. Tasks include providing emotional support, assisting with daily routines, organising activities and events, and working as part of a team to ensure a safe and supportive environment. Collaboration with external professionals and maintaining accurate records are also key aspects of the role.
Qualifications
* Childcare and Working With Children experience, with a strong understanding of child development and needs is preferred but not essential
* Willingness to participate in ongoing Training to enhance skills and meet organisational standards
* Strong communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving abilities
* Relevant certifications or qualifications in childcare, social work, or a related field are an advantage
* Commitment to safeguarding children and promoting their welfare
* All Training is provided, including funding to complete the Level 3/4 Diploma in Children and Young People's Residential Childcare
