Role Overview
Joining a strong existing team reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will play a key role in keeping the production facility running smoothly. You'll take a proactive approach to equipment maintenance, ensuring preventative maintenance (PPM) is completed and responding efficiently to breakdowns to minimise downtime.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out both mechanical and electrical maintenance on factory equipment as per the routine schedule.
* Install and commission new equipment.
* Ensure PPM's are completed and updating CMMS system.
* Manage assigned tasks effectively and support external contractors on-site.
* The site will be having ongoing project work to get involved and support with.
Qualifications & Skills
Essential:
* Experience in a FMCG/Food/Manufacturing environment
* Electrical and/or mechanical qualifications or time-served apprenticeship.
* Minimum 2 years' experience in an automated production setting.
* Strong Communication skills.
Desirable:
* Knowledge of PLC systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, temperature control, instrumentation, welding.
* FLT licence.
