Sign-on Bonus
For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering a $10,000 sign-on bonus for all eligible Registered Nurses with up to 2 years of RN experience and $20,000 for RN with greater than 2 years of experience!
* Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a full or part-time RN position. Bonus amount is prorated for part-time hires; per diem hires are ineligible.
* Current MaineHealth employee members are ineligible; former members are ineligible until more than 6 months' separation from employment.
Position Overview
Orthopedics Joint Replacement in Falmouth, ME, is seeking a Registered Nurse who enjoys functioning as part of a team with the goal of meeting patient needs. The ability to assess and respond to patient calls is essential. Prior surgical experience is a plus, but all RN experience will be considered.
This is a full-time (40 hours), day-shift position. The schedule is five 8-hour shifts during the Monday-Friday workweek. The practice operates from 8 am to 5 pm. No weekends, on-call, or major holidays are required.
Role Summary
The Registered Nurse uses professional nursing processes to assess the needs of patients and families, performs a variety of patient care services to assist physicians and advanced practice practitioners, and delivers excellent care in the physician office setting.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
3. Experience: At least one year of RN experience required; two years preferred. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Registered Nurse I - Ambulatory Care role.
