To maintain all quality records in line with project requirements. Supporting the Quality Manager in delivery and compliance, right first time, high quality project outcomes that meet regulations and customer requirements.
Responsibilities
* Ensure the efficient control of records and QA/QC procedures
* Manage the concurrent compilation of quality records
* Support the development of Project Quality strategies and plans and implement measurement frameworks across the project lifecycle
* Assist the Quality team in dealing with external auditing bodies to maintain certification and drive continuous improvement
* Maintain quality improvement performance measures and recommendations
* Support the delivery of business stream quality programs and actions
* Support the establishment of a continuous improvement culture
* Adhere to BB policy/procedure and the required workflows, including proficiency in BIM360, SharePoint and Ffenics
* Live the Balfour Beatty Values and maintain a Zero Harm focus
* Support the delivery of sustainability activities
* Complete safety observation card targets (e.g., one per week) and record on BB app
Qualifications
* Experience in quality within the mechanical/nuclear sector
* Ability to build strong relationships with delivery teams and project managers
* Attention to detail and a drive to see tasks through to completion
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to influence others including senior management
* Self-starter who manages their own time and adds value
* Enquiring and questioning approach to audit work
* Ability to obtain required security clearances
* High integrity and commitment to meeting customer requirements
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
