Senior Theatre Practitioner – Scrub Nurse
Brentwood Hospital – Nursing – Permanent – Full Time
Up to £42,500 per annum, dependent on experience
37.5 hours per week
As a Senior Theatre Practitioner (ODP) at our Brentwood Hospital, you are registered with the appropriate governing body and hold HCPC registration. You bring a passion for high standards in peri‑operative care, a meticulous eye for detail and post‑registration experience. You are a focused, flexible and motivated team worker.
Responsibilities
* Work on a varied caseload using state‑of‑the‑art technology, equipment and facilities.
* Supervise, support and develop junior members of the team.
* Deliver high‑quality care and experiences for patients that are clinically effective, evidence‑based and appropriate.
* Be trained as a Surgical First Assistant or prepare to undertake training with Nuffield Health.
* Complete clinical audits where appropriate – full training will be provided.

* High level of focus and engagement.

* Excellent communication skills and a strong team‑working attitude.
* Promote evidence‑based practice within your scope.
* Engagement with colleagues at all levels across the hospital, contributing to multidisciplinary team goals.
