SEND Teacher – Enfield A forward-thinking SEND school in Enfield is seeking a dedicated and passionate SEND Teacher to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and complex learning profiles. If you're committed to making a real impact in the lives of young people and thrive in nurturing, specialist environments, we’d love to hear from you. While QTS is preferred, the school is also open to experienced unqualified teachers with a proven track record in SEND settings, particularly those with experience in behaviour support, care, or therapeutic education. Full-time position | Immediate or September start The successful applicant will: Stay calm under pressure and use creative strategies to manage challenging behaviour Differentiate learning to meet a wide range of abilities and emotional needs Foster strong, trusting relationships with students and staff Deliver structured, engaging lessons that promote confidence and independence Work collaboratively with the wider team, including therapists, TAs, and parents Be proactive in maintaining safeguarding, EHCP outcomes, and personalised learning goals In return, the school offers: A supportive and inclusive SEND setting with access to high-quality training A nurturing leadership team who value staff development and wellbeing Excellent facilities designed for specialist learning Opportunities for leadership and career progression Great public transport links and free onsite parking Applicants must be able to provide satisfactory references and hold an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one through Protocol Education).
