Job Title: SEND Teacher
Area: Rochdale, Manchester
Start Date: ASAP / November 2025
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance (dependent on experience and responsibilities)
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm

Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs?
We’re working with a lovely SEN School that provides a supportive, inclusive environment for children with special educational needs (SEN), including those with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD). The school serves students aged 4-19, tailoring its curriculum to meet the diverse needs of each child.
🧩 About the role:
1. Deliver high-quality, tailored teaching to pupils primarily across KS1 and KS2
2. Plan and differentiate engaging lessons to meet EHCP outcomes and developmental milestones
3. Work closely with the SENCO, support staff and parents/carers to provide a consistent and holistic approach
What We’re Looking For:
4. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
5. Experience teaching in an SEN setting (or strong SEN knowledge within a mainstream environment)
6. A calm, empathetic, and resilient approach to classroom management
7. Passion for inclusive education and a commitment to nurturing every child’s progress
To be eligible you must:
8. Hold Right to Work in the UK
9. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service OR be willing to process a new application
10. Provide two professional child related references
