Welsh Language Administrator £14.36 per hour Temporary Contract | Fully Remote 3 days per week (flexible working hours) About the Role We are seeking a highly organised Welsh Language Administrator to join a nationally recognised charity within the childcare sector. This role, funded by the Welsh Government, supports early years, childcare, and playwork practitioners in developing their Welsh language skills. This is a great opportunity for a fluent Welsh speaker with strong administrative and communication skills to contribute to a meaningful, impact-driven project. Key Responsibilities Provide administrative support for the coordination, delivery, and monitoring of the Welsh Language project. Identify childcare settings and assist with the recruitment of practitioners for training programmes. Promote Welsh language development by sharing information about online self-learning courses and encouraging participation. Support practitioners to ensure learning is effectively applied within the workplace. Assist with organising and facilitating live interactive sessions with practitioners and partners. Collect, maintain, and track data on participant progress, including feedback and evaluation. Prepare regular reports outlining progress against targets for senior management and funding bodies. Undertake general administrative duties relevant to the role. Support occasional visits to childcare settings across North Wales where required. About You Fluent in both Welsh and English (written and spoken). Strong organisational and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience or knowledge of the childcare sector is desirable. Relevant qualifications (e.g. childcare, safeguarding) are advantageous. Proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT systems. Able to work independently and as part of a team. A driving licence would be beneficial for occasional travel.
