Overview
Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board are offering an exciting and challenging opportunity to work as a Finance & Clerical Support Officer for Continuing Health Care (CHC) / NHS Funded Nursing Care (FNC). The post holder will support the Nursing Team and the CHC/FNC Admin Coordinator in the day to day running of the service. The Nursing Team ensure that all individuals in receipt of CHC and NHS FNC are assessed in line with Welsh Government guidance and continue to have their health care needs met in the appropriate setting.
Responsibilities
* Validate and process invoices for payment, identify queries and contact Providers and/or Care Coordinators to resolve.
* Provide quality administrative and secretarial support to the Nursing Team making full use of available technology.
* Administer Panel Meetings using Excel.
* Input accurate data into database.
* Draft standard letters and distribute accordingly.
* Manage generic Email Inboxes.
* Administer Retrospective Review Process.
* Learn office procedures for Invoices, Unit Panel, NHS FNC New Admissions, Assessments, Contracts etc.
Qualifications & Skills
* Welsh Skills Desirable: This post is advertised as Welsh Desirable. Speaking & Listening at Level 3 (equivalent to CEFR B2). We don\'t need fluency. Level 3 means basic conversations with patients about their everyday health.
* Applicants who are not UK or Republic of Ireland nationals may require sponsorship to obtain a Health and Care Visa or a Skilled Worker Visa unless they already hold permission to work. Self-assess eligibility for sponsorship by visiting the UK Government\'s Work in the UK guidance.
* For eligible candidates, the Health and Care Visa offers reduced application costs and exempts payment of the annual Immigration Health Surcharge.
