Neath Fresh Expressions, part of The Salvation Army, is a dynamic and expanding community hub dedicated to supporting individuals in Neath and the surrounding areas who face significant social exclusion and barriers to employment. Our work is rooted in compassion and inclusion, aiming to meet the complex needs of those who are often furthest from the labour market.
We are seeking a motivated & compassionate individual to support the ongoing development & delivery if our mid-week engagement programme at The Haven. This programme plays a vital role in fostering social connection, exploring personal interests & building trust within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver programmes & activities within The Haven & local community to support the successful delivery of mission.
2. Demonstrate both a professional & caring manner when interacting with programme participants to create a welcoming & supportive environment.
3. Play a key role in prioritising growing our engagement & training programme to support the local community, building a strong sense of social inclusion.
4. Contribute into the planning & review processes for the programmes & activities to ensure continuous improvement & development to meet community needs.
5. Support recruitment, development & deployment of volunteers to ensure their contribution successfully in the programmes & activities.
