Are you passionate about supporting young people in their education? We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in West London.
About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students both in and out of the classroom. You will work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to help create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to students across a range of subjects.
* Assist teachers in preparing learning materials and classroom resources.
* Support students with additional learning needs (SEND, EAL, etc.).
* Promote positive behaviour and help maintain a safe learning environment.
* Assist with administrative tasks and classroom organisation as needed.
Ideal Candidate:
* Experience working with young people in an educational setting (preferred but not essential).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic.
* A proactive team player with a willingness to learn.
* DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
